Cookies Policy

When you use our sites (including our mobile sites or mobile applications), we, as well as third party organizations, may collect information using “cookies” and other technologies (for convenience, we refer to all of these technologies as “cookies”).

For a list of companies that use cookies and information on how they use them, please consult our Cookie Management Tool. The latter is always available in the bottom corner of our sites.

When you visit our sites, create an account, or purchase tickets, you consent to us and third party organizations using cookies in accordance with your cookie settings. You can use the Cookie Management Tool to change your preferences at any time. For more information on how your personal data is processed, please consult our Confidentiality Policy

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text document — which contains a small amount of information — that passes from your computer through your web browser so that the website can remember you.

The length of time a cookie will remain on your computer depends on the nature of the cookie, i.e. whether it is a persistent or session cookie. Session cookies are temporary cookies that remain on your computer until you leave the website. Persistent cookies remain on your computer after you have finished browsing until they expire or are deleted.

A pixel tag, sometimes called a web beacon, is an invisible image with a line of code that is placed in an email or on a page on a website. Cookies can be categorized either as first-party cookies or as third-party cookies. “First-party cookies” are cookies that Live Nation places on your device, while “third-party cookies” are cookies that a third party controls but are placed on your device when you visit our site. For example, we use Google Analytics cookies to collect information about the user experience on our website.

What are cookies for?

Cookies can be classified into the following categories: strictly necessary, analytical, operational and advertising cookies. This table provides more information about each category.

Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are essential for the proper functioning of our website. They allow you to navigate the site and use its features. Necessary services, such as access to secure locations, cannot be provided without these cookies.

For example, maintaining your session during your visit. Without these cookies, the site would forget about you and you would have to identify yourself at all times. When you buy tickets, cookies ensure that they are still in your basket until you get to the checkout page.

Analytical Cookies

These cookies collect information about how people use our site, such as which pages are visited the most and how users navigate from one link to another. Information collected on our website is combined with information about how people use our site on an aggregated basis. If you have identified yourself, we could associate the information from your cookies with your customer account. In short, these cookies provide us with analytical information about how our site is performing and how we can improve it.

Functional cookies

These cookies allow us to remember the choices you have made and to personalize our website in order to provide you with improved services and content. For example, our cookies may be used to remember your username (but not your password) and may also be used to maintain changes you have made to the text, font, font size, and other parts of the page that you can customize.

Advertising and Marketing Cookies

These cookies can be used to provide a personalized advertising and marketing message based on your browsing history, purchase history, or what you have viewed. We use these cookies in conjunction with third party organizations that provide us with tools that allow us to connect you with other users in order to personalize these messages and advertisements. For example, when you visit our website or applications, add tickets to your basket, or make a purchase, you may then see advertisements or messages for the event in question or similar events. These may include ads on Facebook, Google search results, or an email from us reminding you that you still have tickets in your basket. All third parties we work with comply with industry standards concerning online behavioural advertising (OBA) in order to ensure that your personal data is protected and that you can withdraw your consent at any time.

How to manage cookies on our site?

In addition to our Cookie Management Tool, most web browsers allow you to manage your cookie preferences, for example to have the browser alert you when you receive a new cookie or to use the option to deactivate all cookies. If you decide to deactivate or completely delete all cookies, some sites will no longer be able to function because they are dependent on cookies in order to provide you with the service you requested (see: Strictly Necessary Cookies above).

If you don't want to allow third party organizations, as well as us, to use cookies in our emails, such as pixel tags, the best way is to not enable images when you view the email. In other words, only see the text version of the email. Some internet browsers and email providers, such as Gmail, have settings or extensions available to disable/block such cookies.

Change your navigation settings

You can change your browsing settings to limit which cookies can be activated. These settings are generally found in the “options” or “preferences” menu of your browser.
